Jr. College Livestock Judging – Official Results

KANSAS CITY – Teams from coast to coast vied for champion honors in the American Royal Junior College Livestock Judging Contest. Twenty-eight teams competed in the contest, held in Hale Arena.

The contest is open to one team per junior college and consists of five members per team. All scores contribute toward the overall team score. Contestants judged 12 classes of livestock, containing four animals each. Classes included both breeding and market animals in beef, sheep/goat and swine divisions. Then, the contestants appeared before the judges to present eight sets of oral reasons.
